is a German based sports apparel manufacturer and part of the Adidas Group, which consists of Reebok sportswear company, Taylor-made adidas golf company, and Rockport. Besides sports footwear, the company also produces other products such as bags, shirts, watches, eyewear and other sports and clothing related goods. The company is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and the second biggest sportswear manufacturer in the world, after its U.S. rival Nike.
The company's clothing and shoe designs typically feature THREE BARS. The "Three Stripes" were bought from the Finnish sport company Karhu Sports in the 1950s. The company revenue for 2008 was listed at (EURO) 10.799 billion and the 2007 figure was listed at €10.299 billion, or about US$15.6 billion.

AIR JORDAN
Air Jordan(s), also called Jordans are a brand of shoes and apparel owned by NIKE. originally designed for and endorsed by Michael Jordan. The Air Jordan line is now sold by Jordan Brand, Since its first release in 1984, there have been new designs of the shoe released each year, even after Michael Jordan retired from the NBA.
Collectors classify the Air Jordan line by release year and model: Originals (OG), Retros (shoes that have been recreated for sale to the general public), Retro-pluses (Retro +, Air Jordans that are similar to the Original product, with more up-to-date changes), Player Exclusive (PE, Air Jordans that are exclusive to certain athletes in the realm of sports) and Samples. They are my favorite brand.

Nike first known as Blue Ribbon Sports was majorly founded by Bill Bowerman and Philip Knight. It became Nike in 1978. It first was founded in 1964.Nike sells aparrel in spirit of Olympics sell apparel. Nike also owns AIRJORDAN, NIKE SB, COLE HAAN, HURLEY INTERNATIONAL, UMBRO AND CONVERSE.

New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc. (NBAS), best known as simply New Balance, is a footwear manufacturer based in Boston. It was founded in 1906 as the New Balance Arch Support Company. Eschewing expensive advertising campaigns, it has nevertheless grown to be one of the largest makers of sports footwear in the world.
New Balance is notable in that it has continued to maintain a manufacturing presence in the United States as well as in the United Kingdom for the European market--in contrast to its competitors in the same market space, such as Nike and Adidas, who purchase designs from manufacturers in China, Vietnam and other developing nations. The result of this corporate decision is that the shoes tend to be more expensive than New Balance's competitors. To offset this pricing discrepancy, New Balance offers technical innovations that the other brands do not, such as a blend of gel inserts, heel counters, and greater selection of sizes, particularly for very narrow and/or very wide widths.

Dick's
Dicks sells a humongous variety of things for almost any sport. They sell apparel, equipment; and even excersize equipment.
Eastbay
Eastbay is an online retailer; that is owned by footlocker inc. They even make their own apparel best place to buy shoes in my opinion - lower prices. Go to there site they give out free catalogs each month.
Scheels
Scheels is comparable to Dicks SG. They sell apparel, equipment, and exercise equipment. This is a midwestern store.
